Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kenforte Infosystems Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Neriyam ERP and the related websites at www.neriyam.com and docs.neriyam.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information — name, email address, organization name, phone number when you sign up or are invited to an organization.
  • Business data — items, customers, suppliers, transactions, and other operational data you enter into Neriyam to run your manufacturing operations.
  • Communications — messages you send to our support team, feedback, and survey responses.
  • Early access requests — your email address and any optional details when you request early access on our website.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, actions performed, timestamps, and approximate timing of actions within Neriyam.
  • Device and connection data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used for authentication, preferences, and analytics. See “Cookies” below.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain Neriyam ERP
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud
  • Process transactions and store your business data
  • Communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support requests
  • Improve our product through aggregated usage analysis
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your data. We do not use your business data to train machine learning models without your explicit consent.

3. Data retention

  • Account data — retained while your account is active. After account deletion, we retain account metadata for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and audit purposes, then delete it.
  • Business data (your transactions, masters, etc.) — retained while your organization's subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain it for 30 days to allow recovery, then delete it.
  • Backups — encrypted backups are retained for up to 35 days for disaster recovery purposes.
  • Audit logs — retained for at least 12 months for security and compliance purposes.

You may request earlier deletion by writing to support@kenforte.com.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the service:

  • Service providers — cloud hosting, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only as instructed by us.
  • Within your organization — data you enter is visible to other authorized users in your organization based on the roles and permissions configured by your administrator.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred.

We do not share or sell your business data to advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encryption at rest for backups and sensitive data
  • Role-based access controls within Neriyam
  • Regular security reviews and dependency updates
  • Logging and monitoring of administrative access

No system is perfectly secure. We will notify affected users without undue delay if we discover a security incident affecting their data.

6. International data transfers

Neriyam's primary data hosting region is India. If you access the service from outside India, your data may be transferred to and processed in India. By using Neriyam, you consent to this transfer.

7. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — authentication, session management, security. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — to understand how the product is used and improve it. We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use tracking cookies and does not collect personal data.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies will impact your ability to use Neriyam.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information (with the limits described in “Data retention”)
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise these rights, write to support@kenforte.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's privacy

Neriyam is a business application not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at support@kenforte.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email to active account holders. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
